New York State parks hosts a presentation entitled, Fun for Kids: Extreme Cold Survivors, from 10 - 11:40 a.m. on February 18 at Caleb State Park Preserve.  Participants will explore some of the amazing ways animals survive in extremely cold weather.  Some dig down into the earth to escape it, some sleep through it, and others brave the worst of it.  Attendees will use fun experiments to discover what it is like for these animal survivors.  Call 631-265-1054 or visit The NYS Parks Website at
