Glowworms, butterflies, bees, and other creeping and crawling critters abound in Shakespeare's plays. OVO by Cirque du Soleil celebrates a colorful ecosystem teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl, flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot of energy and movement.

To celebrate the show's theme, Cirque du Soleil, National Harbor and the National Children's Museum are inviting all local youth in grades K-12 to participate in the Washington, DC OVO Photo Contest! To enter, students take a picture of a ladybug, grasshopper, ant or spider and email it to no later than Thursday, September 30. Entries must include student name, telephone number and grade in the body of the email; only one photo per email address will be accepted.

Winners will receive tickets to OVO and an OVO Prize Pack. Plus, the winning photos will be showcased on the OVO by Cirque du Soleil Facebook page and displayed at the National Children's Museum Launch Zone.

For tickets, celebrate the back-to-school season with special Cirque du Soleil discounts for students and parents, available through the link above.
