Lessons on Sustainable Living

A new, free online tool is available to K-12 teachers about sustainability.  The Sustainability Education Clearinghouse, launched by the Green Education Foundation and the Center for Green Schools, provides teachers with green-themed lessons that have been tested and proven in the classroom.  They cover a broad spectrum of subjects and grade levels, uploaded for teachers by teachers, and can help schools looking to achieve Green Ribbon recognition.  Visit http://www.SEClearninghouse.org ...

Celebrating Service Nominate a Champion in the Community

Since 2006, The NASCAR Foundation has asked its loyal fans for their support, as they unite to improve communities throughout the United States, starting with the lives of children.
 
Now NASCAR wants to recognize one special fan who is working to improve his or her community through volunteering, charitable work or other involvement, with the inaugural Betty Jane France Humanitarian Award.
